Privacy Policy
Last updated July 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how RealtimeVoiceKIT ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our transcription and translation services and developer API. By using RealtimeVoiceKIT, you agree to the practices described below.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and account credentials, as well as the audio and video files, media links, cloud files, recordings, transcript text, selected processing options, transcripts, translations, summaries, subtitles, and speaker labels generated from them.
We also collect limited technical information automatically, including IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data, to operate and secure the service.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide and improve the service, process your files into transcripts and translations, authenticate API requests, communicate with you, and maintain security.
We do not use your uploaded audio, video, or transcripts to train our models, and we do not sell your personal information.
Your content
The files you upload and the outputs we generate remain yours. You can delete your files and transcripts at any time from your account, and deletion removes them from our active systems.
Data retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Uploaded files and generated transcripts are retained until you delete them or close your account, subject to short-lived backups that expire on a rolling basis.
Sharing and third parties
We share information only with service providers that help us operate RealtimeVoiceKIT, under agreements that require them to protect your data, or when required by law.
When you request AI transcription, live captions, translation, summaries, or chat-over-transcript features, we send the content needed for that request to AI processing providers. Our speech-to-text provider processes submitted audio, video, and live recording audio for transcription, speaker labels, confidence scores, and timing. AI language providers process transcript text and selected prompts for translation, summaries, and chat-over-transcript features. We use these providers only to provide the requested feature and do not permit them to use your content to train models.
Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@realtimevoicekit.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above.
